Who am I

My name is Anthony, I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a member of IACP (the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I first became interested in psychotherapy after experiencing the healing power of therapy myself. Following a traumatic event in my life, I sought therapy for myself. My experience in therapy fuelled my passion for helping others navigate the complexities of their own healing process.

How I work

I am committed to supporting individuals in navigating the challenges that life brings us. Through my own experience in therapy, I understand the challenges associated with reaching out for help. I am dedicated to fostering an environment where individuals feel comfortable and at ease, reassuring them that therapy is not limited to serious discussions alone. I firmly believe in integrating moments of lightness, creativity, and humour in my approach. Using warmth and empathy, I aim to create a secure and confidential space where you can openly express yourself and be truly heard.

Recognizing the uniqueness of each person’s experiences, perspectives, and processes, I adopt a collaborative approach to connect with clients and identify what works best for them.

My practice is rooted in Humanistic principles, incorporates Pluralistic perspectives, utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy techniques, attachment theory, and embraces various creative methods.

Who I work with

I work with adults facing challenges in navigating the complexities of life. This includes but is not limited to, stress and anxiety, loneliness, family dynamics, relationship difficulties, bullying, parent-child relationship problems, gender identity, depression, life transitions, trauma, sexual and emotional abuse, assault, communication problems or anyone who has lost their way.
