Catherine Brien

Catherine has been practising yoga in its many forms for over 20 years, exploring everything from restorative and yin to dynamic vinyasa flow. Her passion for yoga has taken her around the world, including six months in India where she immersed herself in different yoga styles and traditions. She has also completed an 11-day Vipassana meditation retreat, deepening her understanding of mindfulness and inner stillness.

She recently completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaHub in Camden and continues to expand her practice and teaching through ongoing study. In addition to yoga, Catherine is a qualified Nutritional Therapist, Massage Therapist, and Master in NLP Life Coaching, allowing her to bring a truly holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Catherine loves creating classes that are both energising and grounding, guiding students to build strength, flexibility, and presence while cultivating balance in everyday life. She believes yoga is for everyone and teaches with warmth, encouragement, and a focus on the joy of movement.

Her favourite pose is Half Moon Pose (Ardha Chandrasana), which reflects the balance, openness, and lightness she aims to share with her students.
