Fionnuala Wallace
Fionnuala is a fully qualified and fully accredited humanistic and integrative psychotherapist (MIAHIP) based in Bray, Co. Wicklow. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a Higher Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy, and an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Her approach is integrative, relational, somatic, and trauma informed. She supports each person as a whole, drawing on body-based awareness, psychodynamic understanding, and attachment-focused work to meet clients where they are. Fionnuala works collaboratively and at your pace, helping you feel safe in the therapeutic relationship and within yourself.
People often come to therapy with experiences that feel confusing or hard to make sense of, such as anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or persistent emotional patterns rooted in earlier life. Together you can explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion, understanding them as once-protective responses that may no longer serve you. The work you will do aims to bring awareness, connection, and the possibility for new ways of being that feel more aligned with who you are now.
Therapy is a deeply personal, relational process. She believes that healing happens when you feel genuinely met, understood, and safe, both in the therapeutic relationship and within your own body. Fionnuala’s work is grounded in presence, empathy, and a commitment to her own ongoing personal and professional development.
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim for sessions with me, as many insurers recognise IAHIP-accredited therapists. Check your individual policy for full details.
