Shannon Egan
Shannon is a psychotherapist with a humanistic and integrative approach, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, emotional well-being, and personal growth. She holds a Higher Diploma and a Master’s degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School (DBS), and is currently pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, working in line with the ethical guidelines of IAHIP.
Shannon believes that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and find greater balance in their life. Her integrative approach means she draws on a variety of therapeutic methods and evidence-informed techniques, combining humanistic principles with tools from different psychotherapeutic models to meet each client’s unique needs. In her sessions, she creates a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours at their own pace.
Shannon is particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She works collaboratively with her clients using tailored interventions to support self-awareness, resilience, empowerment and a deeper connection with the self. She values the therapeutic relationship and recognises its importance in promoting trust, safety, and healing. Using a trauma-informed approach, she ensures that every client feels respected, supported, and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.
